Three Projects Recognized by AIA Illinois Honors Awards
We are proud to announce that three KSP projects have been recognized by the 2024 AIA Illinois Honors Awards. The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Illinois Chapter has honored the projects for their exemplary contributions to the architecture profession, the transformative power of design, and the dedication to excellence and community service. These awards celebrate the positive impact on Illinois citizens and their communities.
The awarded projects span a range of typologies from master planning and behavioral science to urban repositioning across Chicago. All three projects demonstrate overlooked urban exemplars that enrich the diversity and vibrancy of American cities, leveraging competing project elements and constraints to maximize impact and value. The projects were selected for their community-centered approach, respect for the unique aspects of each location, and innovative architectural design and planning. In celebration of these achievements, the awards will be presented at a conference in September
