University of Chicago – Center for Decision Research (CDR) Grand Opening
The Center for Decision Research (CDR) at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business celebrates the grand opening of Mindworks, a behavioral science discovery center. The 2,500 sq. ft. space is in the historic Railway Exchange Building in downtown Chicago and is open and free to the public.
The grand opening was celebrated outside of the museum on Michigan Avenue, with the community. The speakers for the event included Richard Thaler, a professor of Behavioral Science and Economics at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business along with Nicholas Epley, a professor of Behavioral Science and Neubauer Family Faculty Fellow at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Mindworks expects to host more than 20,000 visitors within the first year. At the discovery center visitors can learn more about their decision making, the exhibits include highly interactive, hands on experiences.
