Watch the Producer’s Cut and learn more about the project.
Filmed on site, the episode captures a behind-the-scenes look at our design process. Juan Villafañe and Mariusz Klemens walk viewers through key elements of the project, including the 19th Street ground floor façade, mega-scale awning-style glazed overhead doors, allowing cross-views to the soaring 12-story atrium, and the rooftop weather station that drives a natural ventilation system.
The segment also features Richie Brandenburg and Rubén García-Castilla from Unfold Hospitality, who offer a glimpse into the shared commissary kitchen and prepare dishes from Casa Teresa. The design frames the atrium as a cultural hub—anchored by local food vendors and gathering space, extending the vibrancy of the street deep into the building.
The America ByDesign shoot wrapped with a shared lunch among project collaborators, capturing the social and spatial richness of International Square.
