Parth Solanki is a recent Master of Architecture graduate from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where he concentrated in Building Performance. Before coming to the U.S., he completed his Bachelor of Architecture in Mumbai, India, which laid the foundation for his deep interest in design.

His journey into architecture has always been driven by a curiosity to blend performance, storytelling, and thoughtful design. He has worked on a variety of projects, from high-end residences in India to a community housing initiative in the Philippines, during internships at firms such as Architecture BRIO and Arth Interiors. Most recently, he has been drawn to the intersection of AI and architecture, experimenting with computational design tools to drive early-stage performance-based decisions.

Parth lives by the idea of chasing experiences. Whether on road trips, in nature, learning about new cultures, hearing people’s life stories, or exploring new cities, he is always seeking moments that broaden his perspective and keep him curious. That mindset carries over into his work, where he believes the best designs come from lived experiences and a willingness to keep learning.
