Mark joined Krueck Sexton in the Summer of 2024, bringing a strong foundation in architectural design and theory. A graduate of the Illinois Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Architecture, Mark’s academic achievements include nominations for the AIA Chicago Foundation Award and the Schiff Foundation Fellowship, as well as receiving an honorable mention for the George Danforth Travelling Fellowship. During his studies, he cultivated an interest in architectural drawing, detail, and theory, which continues to inform his work.
As an Associate Designer, Mark leverages his skills in architectural drawing and sketching to support project teams in delivering design excellence. Prior to joining KSP, he gained valuable experience during his internship at Jahn, where he contributed to design studies and client presentations for the Thompson Center’s renovation—inspiring him to shaped Chicago’s architectural landscape.
Outside of the office, Mark can often be found cycling along the lakeshore path, reading, and collaborating on design competitions with friends.
