Kiaron Aiken is a Design Associate, originally from Fort Myers, Florida. He holds a Bachelor of Design in Architecture from the University of Florida and earned his Master of Architecture from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation (GSAPP) in  2024.

Kiaron’s work engages architecture as a tool for addressing spatial inequity, often focusing on historically marginalized communities and the overlooked systems that shape the built environment. His projects range from adaptive reuse of culturally significant sites to interventions that propose new ways of thinking about civic space as infrastructure for collective use, rest, and movement.

Prior to joining KSP, Kiaron contributed to projects at Studio Cooke-John, WRNS Studio, and Hanbury Architects, where he worked across typologies including public monuments, higher education, and tech workplaces.

At KSP, he brings a research-driven and materially attuned approach to creating dynamic, adaptable environments that  respond thoughtfully to the layered  social, cultural, and spatial complexities of cities like Chicago —drawing from and contributing to the firm’s legacy of expressive, contextually engaged architecture.
