As the Director of Sustainable Design at Krueck Sexton Partners, Gabriel works across studio projects to find synergies unique to each place. With diverse background experience in construction, civil engineering, and architecture, he brings an integrated design approach to finding solutions for the most pressing issues we face today.
He has completed a wide array of projects, including laboratories, learning environments, residential, adaptive reuse, net-zero energy, bio-based buildings, urban design, master planning, and placemaking. His focus on design excellence integrated with the most rigorous sustainable certification standards has led to multiple AIA Distinguished Building awards and the highest award in sustainable design, the AIA COTE Top Ten.
Sharing knowledge and giving back to the profession are equally important to Gabriel. His thought leadership has contributed to local and national conferences, focusing on material health, building certification systems, decarbonization, and the role of policy in architecture.
