Chelsea Miller hails from the Pacific Northwest by way of Juneau, Alaska—an upbringing that instilled in her a reverence for the natural world and a curiosity about its constructed counterparts.

Her design sensibility is shaped by a multidisciplinary trajectory: From a B. Arch at Illinois Institute of Technology (including a semester in Paris) to an MLA from Cornell University. These experiences have galvanized her commitment to exploring the rich overlap between Architecture and Landscape Architecture. She has continued to develop this dialogue throughout her career.

Chelsea has worked on a wide spectrum of projects—from masterplans and public parks to transportation infrastructure and mixed-use developments. Notable work includes POP! Heights Park, the South Halsted Corridor Plan, the CTA Control and Training Facility, and design contributions to the 741 N Avers in Humboldt Park, Chicago’s largest Phius-certified building. Both her architectural and landscape projects have received regional and national recognition.

Chelsea currently joins Manisha Kaul to help build the Landscape and Urban Design studio at Krueck Sexton Partners.
