Mariusz Klemens, AIA, NCARB
Associate Principal
Mariusz is an architect, urban designer, teacher, and entrepreneur. He values knowledge from the cross-disciplinary teams he works with — from clients to consultants, contractors to teammates. He believes excellent results are achieved through idea sharing and open communication. His experience is diverse, from residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments to master planning, urban design, and geospatial analysis. Before joining Krueck Sexton Partners, Mariusz received his Bachelor of Architecture from Illinois Institute of Technology and his Master of Architecture in Urban Design from Harvard Graduate School of Design. In 2019, Mariusz joined Krueck Sexton Partners and had worked on International Square, a new food market, and amenity space in an existing building in Washington D.C.
Mariusz also leads the Futures Initiative in the office, which focuses on predicting threats and finding opportunities within the architectural profession to imagine a long-term future for our office and deliberately expand our definition of architecture.
“I am proud to be part of a team of passionate and talented architects, designers, and visionaries. Each day we pursue excellence in our profession from every vantage point on a project by studying critical details to addressing urban challenges in our design approach. We strive for design that makes an impact and helps us repair the world.”
